|
Director of our institute has a career in journalism & academics spanning over 15 years. After completing his Masters in English Literature, he completed his Masters in Mass Communication & Journalism with first rank in the university. He started his career as a reporter cum sub editor in Desh Pardesh Ni Aajkal, an evening daily from Rajkot in 1996. Two years later he moved on to the State Information department as an Information Officer and Sub Editor where he worked for both northern and southern parts of Gujarat State like Valsad, Rajkot etc. During his tenure at the information department he covered various high profile functions attended by the former president of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former Prime Minister of India, Mr. A.B. Vajpayee, former Union Home Minister Mr. L.K. Advani. Dr. Kashikar was bestowed with the best article writer's award by the State Information Department in 2002-03. As an academician, he has taught in journalism department of Saurashtra University as a visiting faculty at P.G. level. He has presented papers on various subjects related to modern Mass Communication and History of Journalism. His papers have been appreciated by various academicians in the state and national level seminars. |

Mr. Shashikant Bhagat is a combination of marketing & mass communication skills. He is an alumni of Shri A.D. Sheth Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Saurashtra University. He holds Masters Degree in Mass Communication & Journalism as well as a P.G.Diploma in Media Laws from Nalsar University, Hyderabad & Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He has presented various research papers in the fields of Public Relations, Marketing Research, etc. He has served in Pune's ISB&M as a faculty in U.G & P.G. courses, He takes care of marketing communication related subjects in the institute. He is pursuing Ph.D. from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University. |

Smt. Komal Shah has a B.Com. (Hons) from Calcutta University & Masters in Development Communication (MDC) from Gujarat University. Currently she is pursuing her Ph D. from Gujarat University, on "Portrayal of Urban India by National news channels: A Sociological study". She has presented research papers on Communications at both National &
International seminars.
Smt. Shah has worked with CEE, Ahmedabad, (Centre for Environment Education) as Project Associate. As a freelance writer and professional
translator she has worked with Dordarshan, & developed scripts for DECU-ISRO for NDMA (National Disaster Management Association). |
