NIMCJ is the pioneer in creating an open platform to discuss and share the convergence of media domain. It's a platform to bring forward the facts and figures of media field on a public platform. This platform has been created for students to talk on subjects of common man's interest, where along with our students, citizens can also join the debate/discussion and share their views. This is organized every Wednesday in morning and now, it's a very popular platform for creative discussions. NIMCJ has organized 22 sessions of IMP till February 2017 on various topics. Accendo

Accendo

Accendo is a platform to experience field work of media industry in student life. Started in 2016, this is an yearly event where students are supposed to work from concept creation to execution in order to get the field experience. Students of other media institutes also participate in this event and senior professionals from various fields are invited as speakers.

Incubation Centre

Incubation Centre

NIMCJ provides initial support to its graduates who wish to start their own enterprise. NIMCJ provides infrastructure support along with guidance from time to time. The incubators also get to establish business network which helps them to grow fast. As of 2016, we have 7 students who have established their own start ups.

Guest of the Week series

This concept is a brain child of NIMCJ and was started from year 2009. In this series, prominent personalities from various media and non-media fields come and share their expertise with our students. Through this students are able to understand grass root information of other fields too. This is a weekly event and every Wednesday, a known person from industry comes and shares his/her experiences with our budding journalists.
