Next, fill in your personal details accurately. This includes your name exactly as it appears on your HSC mark sheet, your caste category, gender, and date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format. Enter your APAAR ID (ABC ID) if you have one.
Then, provide your active mobile number and email ID. You will receive separate OTPs on both. After entering both OTPs and completing the captcha, click "Submit."
After you register successfully, GCAS will send your unique username and password to your registered mobile and email. Save these credentials carefully. You will need them for all subsequent steps of the admission process.

This is the most critical stage for BAJMC applicants. Select "Bachelor of Arts - Journalism and Mass Communication (BAJMC)" as your programme. Then choose "Ahmedabad" from the district dropdown and search for colleges. Select NIMCJ as your preferred college and set your priority order carefully. Also, set your main subject as required. Your priority ranking directly influences your allotment during the merit list process.
Pay the Rs. 300 registration fee online through the GCAS portal using UPI, net banking, or a debit or credit card. After payment, review every detail one final time - your name, category, academic information, uploaded documents, and college choices. Once satisfied, click "Final Submit" and print your application. This printed copy confirms that your GCAS Registration and admission form submission are complete.
